Conference 2013
GambleAware's first annual conference was held on 11 December 2013 at The King's Fund, London.
The aim of the conference was to review and discuss existing understanding of harm minimisation in gambling in Great Britain and internationally, and explore future directions for research and policy.
The conference was hosted by Liz Barclay and speakers included Professor Alex Blaszczynski, University of Sydney; Dr. Per Binde, University of Gothenburg; Professor Robert Williams, University of Lethbridge; Professor Peter Collins, University of Salford; Professor David Forrest, University of Salford; Emeritus Professor Jim Orford, University of Birmingham.
